First graders raised over 21,000,00 Reais with the walkathon! This amount was donated to Instituto Dorina Nowill and Amigos do Sopão.
Today the students presented their donation to Beth Coelho, who is a volunteer at Amigos do Sopão. She thanked them for their enormous contribution and shared with them how the NGO will be using the money. Below is the thank you letter sent by the coordinator of the project.
First Graders were also the grade level that collected the most food for the high school drive! They are learning how to help others and change the world!
Room mothers brought the students a very special treat at the end of the day.
