Literacy- Students are finishing their reader’s and writer’s units on nonfiction text. As they approach the end of the year, they are completing their published pieces where they are teaching their readers about a specific topic in which they are experts. They are very excited to be published writers again!
Math- Students are building their place-value concepts of hundreds, tens and ones. They are comparing whole numbers using more than or less than. Students continue to practice math facts and solve number stories.
Social Studies- Students are consolidating the information they learned and completing their oral presentations on school community helpers.
Portuguese- Os alunos estão expandindo seu repertório de rimas e experimentando a criação coletiva de novas versões para as parlendas e cantigas que vimos em aula.
