Writing: This week we will begin to explore how we write opinions about topics other than books. They will brainstorm different topics they could have opinions about and reasons that would support their opinions.

How can you help at home:

Once your child has learned a few ways of representing data, find
something around the house you can make a line or bar graph about, e.g., types
of stuffed animals, colors of LEGO pieces, favorite books, etc.
Social Studies: Due to the short week there will not be a social studies lesson this week.
