Birthdays
This month we celebrated Gabriela's Birthday. Happy Birthday Gabriela!
Writing:
Students completed their opinion unit with a book review. Then they stored them in the library for others to view and even comment! Some of our students had some post-its on the back.
Math Fun
Students were starting a new unit on shapes and really enjoyed learning about the shapes by knowing the mathematical name, the number if sides and corners. Then we also introduced 3D shapes. Students played a game where they got to practice the shape names and make an interesting design. Check out the photos below:
SAAC Tournament
Students enjoyed the opening ceremonies for SAAC. It was a great show of support to our South American teams and a fun event. The students were a bit disappointed they could not watch the others run, but were glad they got to cheer for Graded!
