Science Fun

Students were amazing scientists as we discovered many things about light and dark. They learned how to make models, what materials would make the room as dark as possible, and at the end created their own light devices to help solve our puddle problem at the school.  They were inventive and enthusiastic about the unit!

Reading Activity- Superhero

After reading about Flora and Ulysses students had the opportunity to create awesome superheros with our fourth grade buddies. They had a great time and came up with creative ideas. 

Band Performance:

Students watched the band performance and learned about the instruments. They even played the lion king. It was a very fun event. 

February Birthdays

Happy Birthday to Ryder, Teo and Sofia L who celebrated their birthdays. 

Athletic Center Opening Ceremony: 

The new athletic gym is open and our students get to try the pool this year. I am very excited for them to start and play in the pool. 

100 Day Games

During my class students enjoyed the 100th cup challenge. Can you believe it has been 100 days of school? We had so much fun during our rotations. Students got to make crowns, count, build, move and read about the 100th day!

Planetarium Field Trip:

Since we have been learning about light and dark our students got to enjoy visiting the planetarium. They looked at stars and constellations and then built forts to make the dark. Finally they played a game to find what could be in space. It was a great day!

Carnival

Finally we celebrated Carnival. It is always fun to dance and get into the spirit.
